Death Notice

The death has occurred of Fr. Salvian MAGUIRE of Mount Argus, Dublin / Florencecourt, Fermanagh.

Maguire, Fr. Salvian (Eugene) (late of Killesher, Florencecourt, Co. Fermanagh), Passionist, at St. Paul’s Retreat, Mount Argus, Dublin – 15th October 2017, peacefully, after a long illness in the loving care of his Community and of Nurse Teresa and carers. Sadly missed by his Passionist brethren, by his sister Bridie, brother in law Tom and his many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at St. Paul’s Retreat from 12.00 noon on Tuesday 17th October. Removal to St. Paul’s Church, Mount Argus for 12.00 Mass Wednesday. Transfer of his remains to Holy Cross Monastery, Ardoyne, Belfast, on Wednesday evening, reposing there Thursday. Funeral Mass at 10.00 a.m. on Friday 20th October in Holy Cross Church, followed by burial in the community cemetery.
