Death Notice

The death has occurred of Fr. Patrick Keenan of Dublin 2, Dublin / Banbridge, Down.

KEENAN, Fr. Patrick, O.C.D. (St. Teresa’s, Clarendon Street, Dublin 2 and formerly of Church Square, Banbridge Co. Down) September 17, 2022 (peacefully) at Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross, Dublin. Beloved son of the late Thomas & Alice Keenan. Deeply regretted by his loving sister Anne Canavan, and brothers, Thomas, Michael, Francis Keenan, by all the extended Keenan & Marley families and his Discalced Carmelite brothers and sisters and many friends.

Rest in Peace.

Requiem Mass on Monday, September 19, at 11.30 am at St. Teresa’s Church, Clarendon Street, followed by removal to St Patrick’s Church, Banbridge. Requiem Mass at St. Patrick's Church, Banbridge Co. Down on Tuesday, September 20, at 12.00 noon with burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
