This prestigious award honours family-owned businesses that go the extra mile to support their communities, and we are proud to be recognised for our long-standing commitment to care, compassion, and community impact.

What This Award Represents

This achievement reflects over 200 years of compassionate service and deep-rooted community support. Across our 13 locations in Dublin, we continue to invest in the people and places we serve - through sponsorships, partnerships, and charitable engagement. Our staff-led Charity and ESG Committees have raised more than €250,000 for community causes, while also driving sustainable practices throughout the organisation.

Whether it’s sponsoring local sports teams, supporting national healthcare foundations, or nurturing biodiversity in our funeral home gardens, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is woven into everything we do. This gold award recognises the meaningful difference we aim to make - now and into the future.

• St. Kevin’s Killian’s GAA Club and Thomas Davis Ladies Senior Football Team, promoting sport, inclusion, and resilience.
• The Dundrum Arts & Cultural Festival and Harold’s Cross Community Festival, celebrating creativity and connection.
• In December 2024, we hosted our first-ever Christmas Concert in aid of St. Vincent de Paul - an uplifting evening that brought our community together in the spirit of giving.
• We actively collaborate with the National Maternity Hospital Foundation and the Irish Hospice Foundation, supporting vital services that provide comfort and care during life’s most sensitive moments.

• A growing Urban Rewilding Programme in Rathfarnham, Kimmage, Dundrum, Monkstown, and Ballygall brings biodiversity into our funeral home gardens—with insect hotels, wildflowers, bird feeders, and hedgehog huts enriching our local ecosystems.
